A female Corp Member, name hidden who serves at Cross River State was reported to be raped, by Michael Edet, who has been caught and arrested by the State Police.
Accused Edet got into her residence in Ekpri-Obutong, in the Bakassi Local Government Area of cross river, to perpetrate the crime.
Calabar Reporters got to know that the crime, happened on Friday at amost 11pm at victims home, while the residents were asleep.
A witness, the victim’s co-tenant, who staid anonymous, alleged, the suspect broke into the house of the corp, member at about 11pm on Friday and repeatedly, defiled her before taking away her valuables, including phones and money.
