On the 26th of April, a 31 year old Nigerian man, named Chineme Onyeri, was found guilty on 17 counts of ractereeing, mail fraud, identity fraud, wire fraud, witness tampering and attempted capital murder of judge Julie Kocurek of state district court, in 2015.
He has been sentenced to life imprisonment for the above crimes at the federal prison and will be restitution money for his monetary crimes, district court Judge Lee yaekel of the United states, stated on Tuesday in downtown Austin.
Onyeri's murder attempts Victim, Judge Julie expressed her relief, in her words she said "it's been two years and eleven months, and it feels good to wake up in the morning to know my family is free from Onyeri and his associates "
Julie was present at the court room, during two phases of the sentencing and is now relaxing.
Onyeri's a tourney Victor 0 tried getting him a lesser sentence of 30 years, but there is no averting of law in the federal system. His ten other associates still awaiting trial
He also pleaded guilty, to Shooting Julie at the drive way of her home, he also denied trying to kill or wound her, rather wanted to make her afraid.
