Why I forgave Wizkid for stealing my song - Dammy Krane
Dammy Krane in a chat with Punch, revealed his present projects, how he’s been since the “theft issue” in USA, personal life and also, his renewed friendship with former foe, Wizkid, who reportedly stole his song, ‘Baba Nla’, after paying him a visit at home, some years back.
Recall that a fight ensued between both artistes in 2016 at Quilox, which led ttoDammy Krane trashing his “song theft matter” in public, in which, Wizkid never denied it publicly, and after that, they became enemies. Well, all seems well now as Dammy has explained about what happened recently during a show at an event.
In his own words,
“Wizkid and I went to an event and from there we went out together. It was from there that we became friends again. I have forgiven him because it is just one song and we would still do songs together. We would still do one or two things together but you need to understand that we are all getting to different stages of our lives.”
Dammy Krane also reacted to Social Media users who said, if he (Dammy Krane) were the one who released Baba Nla, it won’t have been a commercial success.
On that, he said;
“I believe that my songs would last for a long time; they are all evergreen songs and ten years from now, I know that you would always hear Dammy Krane’s songs like Amin and Amen.”
Dammy Krane also talked about his new project, Amen. He said;
