Reports coming, has it that a man has been killed by thunder lightning in Ondo state, the 43-year-old Aluko Ramoni a timber contractor, was struck dead by thunder, while cutting an iroko tree in ifira Akoko of the state.
Affirming to the sad Event Isua Akoko Biodun the Divisional Police Officer, explained that the deceased and one of his business partners, Gbenga Oniyere, were in the farm, yesterday, when the incident took place.

As the incident had happened, residents of Ifira community contacted "sango"(god of thunder) worshipers since it was a taboo to touch such dead body. Moreover, where his body was to be buried actually created misunderstanding.
It was gathered that, the traditional worshippers, stood their ground that he should be buried in the forest, going by the cause of his death. But his family members insisted that he must be buried at home.
