Vice president Yemi Osibanjo during his visit to Mechanic village Apo Abuja, reveal that, Market Moni is a distinct loan product under the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme.
That, it seeks to boost the informal sector by enumerating and empowering key players with loans.
Unlike Trader Moni, this offers loans to both artisans and traders starting at a minimum of 50,000.
He was at the market, yesterday to monitor the disbursement of the Market Moni loans.
He further emphasized, they do not consider any of the presidency's social investment programmes a favour to Nigerians, explaining that Nigerians, deserve it as citizens of the country.
Stating that, Nigerians, deserve support from the country's common wealth.
